Melanie Gaynor
Specialist in Facial Massage & Therapeutic Skin Work

Melanie is known for her restorative, intuitive approach to facial therapy — a blend of skilled touch, structural understanding, and a deep respect for the mind–body connection. Her clients return not only for the visible results, but for the sense of calm, grounding, and renewal they experience in her care.
Over the years, Melanie has developed a therapeutic method that goes beyond traditional facials. Her work acknowledges the emotional landscape held in the face, the impact of stress on the skin, and the power of intentional touch to restore balance.
“The more I learn and experience, the more I see how inseparable the mind, body, and soul truly are. I’ve always known that hands-on treatments offer something deeper than the treatment itself and that Therapeutic touch is essential to wellbeing.” — Melanie
A therapeutic approach to rejuvenation
Melanie’s work is grounded in the understanding that the nervous system plays a central role in both skin health and overall wellbeing. She believes that meaningful, lasting change cannot occur when the body is in a state of constant alertness. This is why her treatments prioritise deep relaxation, allowing the system to settle so the face — and the person — can truly restore.
Her approach blends aesthetic knowledge with a clinical understanding of facial structure, creating treatments that support rejuvenation from the inside out.
Originally trained in the UK, Melanie has spent more than a decade expanding her therapeutic skillset through advanced study both internationally and in New Zealand. Her work draws from a wide range of specialised modalities — including facial massage, structural techniques, lymphatic work, and restorative skin therapies — all integrated seamlessly into her unique therapeutic method.
Rather than offering techniques as standalone treatments, Melanie weaves them together intuitively, responding to the needs of each client with precision, care, and deep attunement.
